Aspect of Shared Misery

The Aspect of Shared Misery is an Utility Aspect. It can be imprinted on Helms, Chest Armors, Gloves, Boots, Shields and Amulets. It can be used by any class.

is a powerful tool for spreading crowd control effects akin to a contagion among enemies. It can disseminate a variety of effects such as stuns, freezes, knockdowns, chills, slows, taunts, fears, tethers, and more.

This aspect is particularly advantageous when combined with abilities, passives, and paragon nodes that require specific crowd control effects. A prime example is the Sorceress, who benefits significantly when enemies are chilled or frozen, with some abilities becoming doubly or triply effective in such states.

Using the Aspect of Shared Misery, players can efficiently spread the frozen status to nearby enemies, maximizing the benefits of these effects. It's also effective for immobilizing groups of monsters, facilitating their easy defeat.

However, its effectiveness is diminished in boss fights due to bosses' general immunity to crowd control. This limitation is compounded by the fact that bosses often don't have nearby enemies to propagate the effects, which further reduces the aspect's utility in adding to a boss's stagger bar.

Despite these limitations, the Aspect of Shared Misery is conveniently slotted into the boot equipment, allowing players to incorporate it into most builds with minimal trade-offs.
