The Assimilation Aspect is a Defensive Aspect. It can be imprinted on Helms, Chest Armors, Pants, Shields and Amulets. It can be used by any class.

in Diablo IV, reminiscent of the Borg from science fiction, focuses on dodging and resource regeneration through dodging. This Aspect allows players to recover up to 10 of their primary resource for each dodge, which is significant given that the standard resource cap is 100, equating to full regeneration after just 10 dodges.

Additionally, it offers an 8% increased chance to dodge when the enemy is suffering from a Damage Over Time (DoT) effect, such as poisoning, bleeding, or shadow DoT. This further enhances its utility.

However, the effectiveness of this Aspect largely depends on building a high dodge rate. This makes it particularly suitable for the Rogue class, whose main stat is Dexterity, making it easier to stack dodge. Moreover, Rogues have various ways to inflict poison damage, which triggers the additional 8% dodge chance, aligning well with their combat style. Therefore, the Aspect of Assimilation is most effectively utilized by Rogues, who can maximize its benefits through their natural agility and skillset.
